What to Expect
Flores island in East Nusa Tenggara province is one of Indonesia’s Lesser Sunda Islands. Situated to the east of Sumbawa and Komodo island and southeast of Timor; Flores sits just across the Sumba Strait from Sumba island. To the north, beyond the Flores Sea is Sulawesi. Dotted by volcanoes that are often surrounded by terraced valleys, then ringed by glorious beaches, the island of Flores is a fabulous destination for adventurers, nature lovers and explorers. The port town of Labuan Bajo on the west of the island is the entry point to Komodo National Park, a World Heritage Site that is home to the wild Komodo dragon.
This 3-day package combines your stay with 1 night on board a local wooden boat and 1 night in a comfortable hotel room; providing you opportunity to see the komodo dragons, to visit the highlights of the Komodo National Park and to snorkel in the pristine water of superb snorkelling spots. Extend your stay if you have the time and certified to dive in the pristine water of Flores
What you will do
Day 1 Arrival Labuan Bajo – Rinca – Kelor – Kalong Island (L/D)
Begin your trip with the first flight of the day to Komodo Airport in Flores. Meet your assigned guide upon arrival, then directly transfer to Labuan Bajo Harbour to embark on a local wooden boat (boat condition may vary, depending on availability). A 2-hour boat journey gets you to Rinca Island and enjoys an approximate 2-hour soft trek on the island in search for the dragons, guided by a local ranger. Afterwards, proceed to Kelor Island for snorkelling near the island (snorkelling gear is provided). After soft-trekking at Loh Buaya, continue sailing towards Kalong Island where you can observe bats filling the sky as they come home to roost at sunset. Your boat will be positioned nearby the island during your first night in the Komodo National park area. Lunch and dinner are provided on board. Overnight on board.
Day 2 Kalong Island – Komodo Island – Pink Beach – Labuan Bajo (B/L/D)
Breakfast is provided onboard as the boat starts sailing towards to Komodo Island. Arrive at the island, have a safety briefing, then start from Loh Liang following the trails of the dragons’ walking paths, guided by a local ranger. Observe the dragons from a safe distance and have a quick stop at the local museum, then the boat journey continues on to Pink Beach for swimming and more snorkelling (snorkelling gear is provided). After lunch, the boat sails back to Labuan Bajo. Arrive back at the harbour, where a chauffeured vehicle is waiting to take you to your hotel of choice for your last evening in Labuan Bajo.

Day 3 Departure Labuan Bajo (B)
Check out in the morning, then transfer directly to the airport for your onward flight home with wonderful memories.
