Day 1

Almaty arrival

Arrive in Almaty International Airport. Our driver will meet you and take you to the hotel. Check-in at 14:00. Free time. Dinner at local Restaurant. Transfer back to the hotel and overnight.

Day 2

Almaty Grand Tour (8 Hours)

Tour starts at: 10:00

The tour starts with sightseeing in central part of Almaty. You will know more about history and development of the Southern capital of Kazakhstan and see its major attractions. You will visit a popular place for town people – the Green Bazaar, where it is impossible to refrain from shopping. It is the great chance to experience an atmosphere of the real eastern market, its colors, smells and crowds. There you can obtain famous Oriental sweets, but don’t forget to bargain…

Then the tour will continue in one of the oldest Almaty parks – Panfilov Park, where one of the most beautiful wooden building in the world – Zenkov Cathedral is located. You will also visit the Memorial of Glory and Eternal Flame, dedicated to the memory of the fighters who died for freedom and independence of the country.

After exploration of sport, cultural and business areas of the city you will get to the Medeo Gorge, well known due to the highest

mountain skating rink in the world and the dam, protecting the city from dangerous mudflow.

Our last stop of the day will be the Sunkar Falcon Farm, where you’ll enjoy a spectacular show with specially trained hawks – hunting with these magnificent birds is a distinguishing feature of the Kazakh way of life.

Day 3

Almaty departure to Bishkek.

Breakfast. Transfer to Almaty Airport at 08:00 to take flight KC107 to Bishkek at 10:30. Upon arrival in Bishkek at 11:25, transfer to the hotel to leave your luggage. A 3-4 hour afternoon sightseeing tour will follow, featuring Oak Park, Ala-Too Square, the Statue of Manas, the National Museum of Fine Arts, the Philharmonic Hall, and the Victory Monument – all impressive examples of Soviet urban design and architecture. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4

Bishkek – Burana – Don Aryk – Bishkek – Tashkent (Kyrgyzstan/Uzbekistan)

Breakfast. Depart Bishkek at 09:00. The first stop will be Burana Tower, which was part of the ancient city of Balasagun (11th to 13th centuries) and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Next on the agenda will be experiencing a Kyrgyz national horse game called “Ulak Tartysh” (goat pulling). Ulak Tartysh (also known as Kok Boru) is a fight between two teams of horse riders for a goat carcass. Transfer to Don Aryk village and watch a demonstration of yurt construction and even take part if you wish. Local Kyrgyz women will explain the meaning and use of each part of the yurt. Transfer to Bishkek airport (110 km, ~1h 30 min) to take flight HY780 to Tashkent, which departs at 18:10 and arrives at 18:30 (1h 20 min). Transfer to the hotel for overnight.

Day 5


Breakfast. Start the Tashkent city tour at 10:00 by visiting the Old City of Tashkent. This area encompasses the Khast-Imam Complex (famous for displaying one of the earliest copies of the Qur’an, the Holy Book of Islam), and Chorsu Bazaar, where you can haggle for spices, dried fruit, and nuts. The tour will continue to the city center to see Amir Timur Square and Independence Square and to explore the Museum of Applied Art. The city tour will take 4-5 hours, after which you’ll have some free time. At 18:00, transfer to the railway station. The high-speed train Afrasiyab, departs at 18:50 and arrives in Samarkand at 21:00 (300 km, 2h 10 min). Transfer to the hotel for overnight.

Day 6

Samarkand – Penjikent 60 km.

Breakfast. At 09:00, transfer to the Uzbekistan-Tajikistan border station, Jartepa (50 km, 1 h). Go through customs and passport control on both sides. Meeting guests on the Tajik side of the border. Drive to Penjikent 30 km. Museum of Rudaki – As Penjikent is a birthplace of Abu Abdallah Rudaki, considered by many to be the father of Persian Poetry. Before lunch we’ll visit local bazaar and mosque. Ancient Penjikent – ruins of old Sogdian town founded in 5th century and abandoned in the 8th century by Arabs. Foundations of houses, a citadel with a couple  of Zoroastrian fire temples and city bazaar are visible in the excavated ruins Sarazm ruins – one of the ancient settlement in Central Asia with 5500 years civilization. In 2010 the Sarazm was added to the list of the Human heritage by UNESCO. Transfer to the hotel and overnight.

Day 7

Penjikent-Haf Kul-Penjikent-Samarkand (80km+80+60 km)

After breakfast we’ll go up to the – Haf Kul-seven lakes of different colours in mountains of Tajikistan. See 1.Mijgon, 2. Soya, 3. Hushyor, 4. Nophin lakes (2139m.a.l), Khurdak, 6.Marguzor, 7.Hazorchashma lakes (2400m a.s.l.) 6th lake “Marguzor” (10km, 40 min.). Short stay and having some snacks & tea on the lake’s shore. Further we will continue our hike to the 7th lake “Hazar chashma” (2139m), which means “Thousand of springs” (2 km, 1,5 hours). Walking around the lake, after arrival. Afternoon coming back to the 6th lake (2 km, 1 hour), where waiting for us car and driver. Drive to the Jartepa border crossing in the late-afternoon and complete the border formalities. On the Uzbek side, your driver will meet you and take you to the hotel in Samarkand. Free time in the evening.

Day 8


Breakfast. At 09:00, the city tour will begin with a visit to the spectacular Registan Square, followed by the Gur Emir Mausoleum, the final resting place of the Turco-Mongol emperor, Timur. Explore the ruins of the Bibi Khanum Mosque and Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis, and then take a short drive to Konigil village to find out about the traditional techniques used to make the famous Samarkand paper from mulberry bark. Free time. At 20:00 transfer to the railway station. Take the high-speed Afrasiyab train departing at 21:00 and arriving in Bukhara at 22:35 (270 km, 1 h 35 min). Transfer to the hotel for overnight.

Day 9


Breakfast. At 09:00, Start Exploring The Old City Of Bukhara. Highlights Of The Walking Tour Will Include: The Lyabi Hauz Ensemble, Magoki-Attori Mosque, Chor-Minor Madrasa, Kalyan Minaret, Kalyan Mosque, Miri-Arab Madrasa, Ulugbek And Abdulazizkhan Madrasas, Ark Fortress, Bolo-Khauz Mosque, Ismail Samani And Chashmai- Ayub Mausoleums, And Various Trading Domes. Free Time From 15:00 Until The National Show At Nadir Divan-Begi Madrasa, Which Starts At 18:00. Overnight At The Hotel.

Day 10

Bukhara – Mery (Turkmenistan)

Early Breakfast. Depart At 06:30 For The Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan Border Point, Farap-Alat (100 Km, 1 H 30 Min). After Completing The Border Formalities At Both Checkpoints, Cross The 1.5 Km Neutral Zone (Transportation May Not Be Available). Our Representatives Will Meet You At Turkmen/Uzbek Border “Farap/Alat”. Drive To Merv To Explore Ancient Merv – “Queen Of The World”, Was One Of The Most Important Capitals Of Islam Along With Baghdad, Cairo And Damascus. Sightseeing Of Ancient Merv Includes Greater Kyz Gala & Lesser Kyz Gala (Vi- Vii), Complex Of Askhabs (Viii-Xiv), Erk Gala (Vi Bc), Gyaur Gala (Iv Bc), Hoja Yusup Hamadani Complex, Sultan Sanjar Mausoleum, Muhamed Ibn Zeid Mausoleum. Day 11

Mary – Ashgabat

Bf At Hotel. Check Out And Transfer To Airport For Morning Is Flight (T5 128, 08:00-08:40) To Ashgabat.

Over The 30 Beautiful Horses, You Can See At The Horse Farm. 5000 Years Ago, Turkmens Begin Breed Akhalteke Horses. Unique Breed On The World, That Not Mixed With Other Breeds. Different Rulers As Alexander Great, Darius I Wants To Own This Horses.

Drive To Visit Nissa Fortress -The Sanctuary Of Parthian Kings. Unesco Declared Fortress A World Heritage Site In 2007. Nissa Described As One Of The First Capitals Of The Parthians. It Was Founded By Arsaces I (Reigned C. 250 Bc – 211bc), And Reputedly The Royal Necropolis Of The Parthian Kings, Although It Has Neither Been Established That The Fortress At Nissa Was A Royal Residence Or A Mausoleum. The Ruins Of Ancient Settlement Nissa Are Located 18 Km From Ashgabat At Bagyr Village. On The Back Way We Will Visit Ruhy Mosque Of Saparmyrat Hajy Is The Largest Mosque In Central Asia.  Seven Thousand Men And Woman Can Pray At The Same Time. Overnight Is At Hotel.

Day 12


BF At Hotel. Start Sightseeing And Visit:

National Museum Of Turkmenistan – (Closed On Tuesdays & During National Holidays) About 500 000 Artifacts Dedicated To The Bronze Age, Antiquity And Middle Age History Of Turkmenistan. Other Sections Of The Museum Are Nature, Ethnography, Military, Jewelry Sections. There Is Also Section With The Gifts Of The President. Second Floor Of The Museum Is A S/S Platform From Which The Giant Carpet “Turkmenbashy” Can Be Observed. Russian Bazaar Is A Colorful Market Of Ashgabat. You Can Find Here Everything And Also Get Acquainted With One Of The Interesting Part  Of The Culture Of Turkmens. Drive To Darwaza By 4×4 Jeep (4 Hours). Each Jeep For 3 Persons Sharing. Following Border Formalities At Both Checkpoints And Crossing The 1.5 Km Neutral Zone (Transportation May Not Be Available), Your Uzbek Driver Will Meet You To Begin The Trip To Khiva (60 Km, 1 H). Day 14

Khiva – Tashkent

Breakfast And Hotel Check-Out (The Hotel Will Store Your Luggage Safely For The Day). Spend The Morning At The Unesco World Heritage Site Of Ichan-Kala Fortress. Highlights Of The Morning Walking Tour Include The Muhammad Amin Khan Madrasa, Muhammad Rahimkhan Madrasa, Kalta Minor, Kunya-Ark, Juma Mosque, Tash- Khovli Palace, Pakhlavan Mahmud Mausoleum, And Minaret Of Islam Khodja.
