Day 1 Baku
Arrival. Meeting at the airport by guide.
Transfer to the hotel.

Day 2 Baku-Absheron-Baku
Meeting at the hotel by guide and driver to start excursion.
Let’s start excursion from Panoramic view. Excursion to Icheri Sheher. Excursion to Maiden Tower (XII century), Juma Mosque (XII century), Caravanserai (XIV-XV century). Excursion to the museum palace complex of Shirvanshahs (XV century).
Visiting Ateshgakh – the temple of fire worshippers. The temple in its present state was constructed in the 17th-18th centuries. It was built by the Baku-based Hindu community related to Sikhs.
Visiting Gala village, visiting Gala Ethnographic Museum, culinary and handcraft master class from the local people.
Visiting Yanardag (Burning Mountain). One of the most famous and popular tourist places of the “eternal flame” in Azerbaijan is the mountain of Yanar Dag. Actually, it is rather a hill than a mountain, with natural gas burning on its slope from ancient times.
Transfer to the hotel. Overnight.
Day 3 Baku-Gabala
Breakfast. Transfer to Gabala. Gabala is the most ancient city of Azerbaijan. Before 1991 the city was known as Kutkashen, but after Azerbaijan’s independence the town was renamed in honour of the much older city of Gabala. Gabala was the ancient capital of Caucasian Albania. Archeological evidence indicates that the city functioned as the capital of Caucasian Albania as early as 4th century BC.

Visiting Seven Domes, which was the Shirvanshah’s burial vault.
Closer to the middle of the day, we will arrive at the historical and architectural landmarks – the village of Lahij – was built in the 5th century AD. e. On this territory there are ancient mosques, medieval water supply and sewerage system. Wandering through the narrow-paved streets of Lahij, do not apply to look at the workshops, where from generation to generation local people make handicrafts: carpets, brass dishes, daggers, etc.

Day 4 Gabala- Sheki
Visiting Nohur lake. Nohur lake which existed as a natural lake, Swimming in the Nohur lake is prohibited, however, fishing is allowed here – this is one of the main entertainment attractions that people enjoy near this place.
Excursion Chukhur excavation. Ongoing excavations near the village Chukhur confirm that Gabala from IV – III centuries BC and up to the XVIII century was one of the major cities with developed trade and crafts.During excavations in the ancient city were found the remains of constructions and the base of the barn presumably for food storage.
Visiting Albanian church in Nidj village. The village of Nidzh , not far from Gabala, is known for a unique architectural monument of the Caucasian Albania – Udin Temple. The udins are absolutely special ethnic group who are considered descendants of Alabanians (only 10,000 of them left). The restored temple was constructed in the17th – 18th centuries on the site of an ancient Albanian church which had been built at will Saint Eliseus – the Christian ecclesiast and educator honored in the Caucasian Albania.
Transfer to Sheki. Arriving.
Sheki is one of the most ancient cities of Azerbaijan. Archaeological findings suggest that the city one of the oldest settlements in the Caucasus, and the discovered pieces in its territory derived to 5 V BC. Till 1968 the name of the city was Nukha. Throughout its history, Sheki swung between independence and foreign domination.
Visiting Caravanserai. “Caravanserai” historical complex in Sheki is two magnificent caravanserais which reached present days and traditionally named “Yukhary” and “Ashaghy” caravanserai, which means “Upper” and “Lower” Caravanserai.. Construction of these caravanserai is dated back to the 18th-19th centuries.

Day 5 Sheki- Lagodekhi (Georgia side)
Visiting the Palace of Sheki Khans – was included to the list of world heritage. The summer palace of Sheki khans was built in the years 1761-1762 during the reign of the grandson of the founder of independent khanates in Azerbaijan, Haji Chelebi Khan Huseyn Khan.
Visiting the fortress Gelersen-Gorersen, which means come and you will see.
Visit the Sheki Museum of Applied Arts, located in the ancient Albanian temple.
Transfer to the border Lagodekhi.
